Yes, it was back to China for my spring break this year. Reading through 'Eat, Pray, Love' played a role in this time as I became interested in meditation again and was able to find the music I'd searched for in vain so may years ago. It's quite amazing how far the internet has come in the past decade.
I'm still super iimpressed by the green space in China. For being the most populated country, the ease of getting into the mountains and the trees is fantastic! Cupcake fed me his usual bread and nutella, along with sacrificing some of his precious granola from Canada, while I scrounged for my dumplings at the usual spot.
Yes, Dave is getting married on May 22nd, yay! We also got measured for suit sizes and Dave is supposed to choose the design he wants from a catalog. It felt so Consumers Distributing/Sears catalogish to me from back in the day.
One of the memorable moments was watching the fisherman in the video. I've never seen such a unique fishing expedition!

It looks like this will be my last trip with Dennis and Jay as their papers are finally in order and their adoptive parents should be coming to get them soon. They've received a lot of pictures and stories from their immediate and extended adoptive family. It's really cool to ask them about their new family and to hear them rattle off their names and relationships to them from photographs even though they've not met yet. It will be really sad for me to see them go because the two of them and Senon are the oldest children and the only ones who've been there since I started volunteering there last year. At the same time, their departure will be a really happy moment knowing that they are moving on to a great new phase in their lives.
Senon has also been matched but it will take a little longer to get everything in order for him so he will probably be around until the summer, but I will probably have to say goodbye to him before I leave for my summer vacation.
